Email: No longer for Amateurs

Creating an e-mail account may take less than two minutes, but in the age of LOLs, J/Ks, LMAOs, and the funny jokes, being irresponsible with your e-mail can leave you without a job or with a bad reputation. According to the Pew Research Center, almost 50 percent of 18 to 25-year-olds send and receive e-mail during a 24-hour period, and 88 percent of them agree on its usefulness in the work field.

Daniel Pearl Concert

The Kadima String Quartet was joined by the Valley College Choir as part of the Daniel Pearl World Music Day Concert that was held Thursday morning in the music hall before an appreciative audience of more than 100 students, senior citizens, and members of the community.
