Police just miss having a stroke of luck in case of onerous onanist.

The Valley College Sheriff's Department is looking for a male suspect who has been seen masturbating in various campus buildings within the last month.
The most recent incident occurred in the business journalism building March 29 at approximately 12:30 p.m. An unidentified female witness spotted the suspect while on her way to class. He was alone in one of the classrooms, masturbating with the door ajar, according to police. The witness notified a teacher who went to the class and asked the suspect to leave, and then called police.
When police arrived the alleged masturbator had already fled. A search of the area was conducted but the police were unable to locate him.
The suspect is described as African American, 20-30 years old, with black hair, approximately 5'10" and 150 pounds. He was wearing light colored hospital scrubs, according to the witness.
Police believe this incident involves the same suspect from a previous incident, reported Feb. 19, when police were called to the campus center when a woman leaving class saw a black male wearing hospital scrubs about thirty feet from her, masturbating. When police searched the area, they found a man matching the suspect's description, including hospital uniform, smoking a cigarette behind the campus center. Police detained and questioned the man for a field identification, but the witness told police it was not him and he was released.
"We take these cases seriously," said Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Detective Steve Gutierrez. "A campus like ours is a target-rich environment for sexual predators."
Authorities may be particularly vigilant in this case because it echoes a previous series of events in which a campus masturbator turned out to be a rapist.
After busts for lewd conduct at both Pierce College and Valley, DNA testing linked 24-year-old Pablo Lopez to the unsolved rape of a 47-year-old woman at gunpoint in the bathroom of the life science building at Pierce in January 2001. He has since been charged with a second rape and the district attorney is waiting for further testing, which may lead to more charges. Lopez is currently awaiting trial and is being held on $1.36 million bail.
