Vehicle Burglaries
A car was broken into in Lot G on April 27 between 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. The passenger window was broken and the estimated loss value is $355.
A car in Lot D was burglarized on April 28 between 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. There was no sign of forced entry. The estimated loss value is $350.
On April 28 a car parked on Campus Drive was burglarized. There was no sign of forced entry according to the Sheriff's report. The estimated loss value is $1,110.
A vehicle parked in Lot G has an estimated $475 in damages after thieves smashed out the rear driver's side window and stole a camera and other personal items.
Other break-ins have resulted in cash and parking passes being stolen.
Battery
On April 28 a female theater arts student was shoved in the chest by a male classmate after the alleged assailant claimed that the victim's choice of comedy scene was in poor taste. Two faculty members witnessed the yelling match that began the incident and escalated into the physical contact. The victim was not visibly injured, according to the Sheriff's report. Charges are pending.
Felony Burglary
An envelope containing $187 was stolen from the Administration building between April 26-29. According to the Sheriff's report, the envelope containing the money was put into a locked drawer to which only three people have access. An Associate Dean noticed the envelope was missing and contacted the Sheriff's Department.
