As some of you head into summer looking to take more classes or work full time, the rest of us will be enjoying our break and all the music that comes with it.
With festivals like Lollapalooza and Bumbershoot topping the west coast fan choice, a few national and international gatherings are sure to be the seasons best.
Oasis and The White Stripes are headlining the Glastonbury Music Festival at the Vale of Avalon in the UK. It is the world's largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.
The Pixies are making a few choice Lollapalooza appearances, including the Ventura show and Bumbershoot.
The Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee brings the best rock, folk and country music acts together to play for three days on the 600-acre farm south of Nashville.
The Hurricane Festival in Scheebel brings the best names in Indie-rock together for a weekend of camping and exploring along the German countryside. Acts like Franz Ferdinand and Modest Mouse.
Traveling around this summer may seem like a hefty chunk of change out your budget, but carpooling and road tripping makes for a great adventure and wonderful stories to head back to school with in the fall.
Each festival has it's own website packed full of travel and ticket information. see following:
