Former United States President Bill Clinton underwent successful quadruple heart bypass surgery because of blocked arteries Monday. Doctors the Manhattan hospital say Clinton was resting comfortably after the surgery.

MISSING UCLA STUDENT FOUND
UCLA student Ahmad Yaseen Arain, who went missing in July while on his way to campus, has been found. According to family members the 20-year-old Arain suffered a mental breakdown and spent six disoriented weeks in Tijuana.

FIREFIGHTERS STRUGGLE TO CONTAIN WILD FIRE
The San Francisco wild fire continues to burn for its third day, already scorching nearly 12,000 acres and four homes in the Northern California wine country.
