Michael Avila, of the technology department, earned his A.S. at Valley and his B.A. at Cal State Long Beach.
Glenn Hefferman, head basketball coach, earned his M.A. from Ball State University.
Kim Hollingshead, of the health science department, earned a M.A. in nursing from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Marion "Bea" Martin, of the health and science department, earned a Ph.N. from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
James MicMillan, Valley's new water polo coach, earned a M.A. in physical education from Pepperdine.
Greg Morrison, Valley alumnus and respiratory therapist, earned a B.A. in Science and public health education.
Cathy S. Pyles, of the theatre department, is a former Broadway actress who earned an M.A. in theatre design.
Terry Teplin, director of the child development department, is working on her M.A. at Pacific Oaks College and Children's School.
