What is it with the major league baseball players and their lack of temper control? Is it something acceptable as part of the game?

It needs to come to end before it turns to a bull fight.

A week after announcing that he would seek help for his anger management - after being suspended for the rest of the regular season by major league baseball - Dodgers right fielder, Milton Bradley, got into a confrontation with a reporter in the visitor's clubhouse in St. Louis.

On Wednesday Bradley got in a verbal confrontation with Jason Reid, a veteran baseball reporter for the Los Angeles Times, when Bradley told Reid, "You're an Uncle Tom. You're a sellout."

Reid, who is an African-American, found the comment offensive and needed to be separated from Bradley as Reid was stopped by a player at the clubhouse after Bradley refused to answer him.

"I don't appreciate his coverage of our team. I don't appreciate how he talks about me," Bradley said after the confrontation, trying to justify his racial comment.

"I'm a brother. You're a brother," Bradley said. "Do you see any other brothers in here?"

Is he trying to get positive coverage for his bad actions just because of his color?

Reporters have an obligation to report what is the news, not who we are going to make happy with our coverage. But it doesn't seem as though Bradley knows what our job is.

But nobody seems to think that Bradley's action Wednesday was a big deal.

"Ultimately this is an issue that needs to be settled between the two individuals, and we will work with them toward that end," Lon Rosen, Dodgers' executive vice president and chief marketing officer said in a statement.

Times Sports Editor Bill Dwyre said, "I hope the Dodgers are especially diligent in following through on Milton Bradley's anger-management classes."

Reid continously urged Bradley on to comment on his regular season ending suspension before the right fielder turned around and shot back, "You're a sellout."

The incident was recorded on tape before it was erased upon request from Dodger spokesperson John Olguin.

Even though Bradley came to the Dodgers this season with a history of problems, Reid should have never lost his cool as a reporter.

Bradley was ejected four times this season and was suspended twice, most recently for an angry confrontation with a fan at Dodgers' Stadium as he threw a plastic beer bottle into the stadium seats.

The Dodgers and Major League Baseball decided to not investigate the matter, according to Rich Levin, a spokesman for the commissioner.

Bradley returned to the Dodgers in time for the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
