Smokin' Crystal Methamphetamine in the Boys' Room

All "Meth-ed" Up
Called to investigate a report of vandalism at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, campus security officers discovered a suspect smoking what appeared to be a crystal methamphetamine in the men's restroom of the math/science building. The officers escorted the suspect outside and, after a pat down search, they discovered a glass pipe and a small metal container filled with what appeared to be methamphetamine.
Security officers then escorted the suspect to the campus sheriff's station. A deputy searched the suspect's backpack and found numerous empty glass pipes and lighters.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Tires Slashed
All four tires were slashed on a car in parking lot C on Thursday, March 24, between 4:15 and 5:15 p.m. Upon returning to the vehicle and noticing the damage, the victim immediately drove to a nearby gas station and purchased new tires. The victim filed a report with campus police the following day. Police have no suspects.

Attempted Burglary
An unknown suspect tried unsuccessfully to gain entry to the tool shed on the west side of bungalow 11 sometime during the weekend.
Between the hours of 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1, and 7 a.m. Monday, April 4, the suspect damaged the door latch of the tool shed. No tools were missing from the shed. Police have no suspects.
