THE FIELD OF BROKEN DREAMS- A unique memorial dedicated to child abuse awarness was erected in Downey last weekend. East Middle School helped put up 1,426 flags; 1,400 for kids from around the country that passed away from child abuse last year and 26 for local children ranging in age from 12 years old to a 1-day-old girl.
