"Is Math Doing a Number on You?"

May 4, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Cafeteria Conference Room
Dispelling common myths and misconceptions about math, using strategies for improving performance in math classes, appreciating math's connection to art, logic, and being successful in other classes, using math to make yourself richer. If you've ever struggled with a math class, this is an opportunity for you.

"Final Exams and Final Projects: A Survival Guide."

May 5, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Cafeteria Conference Room.

Final exam final projects are just around the corner! Don't end up unprepared, stressed out, and cramming the night before. This workshop, led by Dr. Myron Dembo from USC, will focus on the following questions: How do I prepare a study plan to complete a final paper or project? How do I manage my time effectively? Do I need to seek help? How do I deal with procrastination? The answers to these questions will help you complete the semester successfully and with reduced stress.
