It's not quite as heralded as "Revenge of the Sith," but another series from a land far, far away wraps up this weekend at Valley College: The Saturday Night Irish Music Series.
The pot o' gold at the end of the Kerry Records' rainbow will appear at the Music Recital Hall in the form of episode IV: "An Evening of Irish Love and Lyrics."
Valley will be as green as the emerald isle as Maria Butterly, Kathleen Keane, Redmond Gleeson and Thomas MacGreevy return for an evening of music and dance, as well as readings from Irish greats Joyce, Yeats, Wilde and Moore.
Keane's talent on the violin, joined by Butterly's dynamic voice, together with Gleeson and MacGreevy's spoken word talents once again promise to bring the luck of the Irish to all who attend.
An Evening of Irish Love and Lyrics: Music Recital Hall, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $15, Students $10-available at the door, for more information call: (818) 784-3805. Tickets are also available online at: www.kerryrecords.com.
