"The Feng Shui Matrix: Another Way to Inherit the Earth" is a clear and concise guide to help anyone begin the path to peaceful and positive interaction with their home and surroundings.

The book's relaxed tone and many drawings and charts help to convey author Kartar Diamond's mission to clear up the confusion left behind by some others, many of which are written by people with little or no professional experience or training.

Diamond began studies under Master Larry Sang in 1992 and is an advanced senior graduate instructor at the American Feng Shui Institute. She is experienced in traditional Eastern as well as Western studies.

"The Feng Shui Matrix" guides readers through the basics of feng shui, beginning with the importance of the year a home was built, its shape and the Chinese zodiac signs of the people who live inside it. All of these things can influence the home's energy, or ch'i.

Its history and importance are outlined and Diamond teaches readers how to meditate and find the ch'i of a space. Also very helpful are definitions and comprehensive explanations of terms, making it simple to navigate for the beginner yet in-depth enough to keep more experienced readers interested.

Diamond founded her company Feng Shui Solutions in 1993, through which she provides consultations for residential and commercial properties, architecture design and real estate.

Diamond also founded Four Pillars Publishing in 2003 and published "Feng Shui for Skeptics: Real Solutions without Superstition," debunking faux feng shui marketing ploys.

"The Feng Shui Matrix" is available now for $19.95 at www.FengShuiSolutions.net and will appear on amazon.com in early 2006.
